The Marshall Weinberg Spring 2021 Classical Music Season Concert: Anthony McGill, Susanna Phillips, and Myra Huang perform Schubert and more
May 11, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. ET
92nd Street Y in New York City

This program features Schubert’s lovely but rarely performed Shepherd on the Rock (Der Hirt auf dem Felsen) — the last of his more than 600 songs — blending their gorgeous sounds in this beautiful work for soprano, clarinet and piano. The Schubert is paired with the world premiere of a new piece written for the same instrumentation by composer James Lee III, which sets the stunning poetry of Sister Lou Ella Hickman.

*Limited in-person tickets - and unlimited online tickets - are available for this performance.
