Embracing the Incarnation

In the spring of 2009. Father Ron Rolheiser, OMI, reviewed a book by Robert L. Moore entitled Facing the Dragon: Confronting Personal and Spiritual Grandiosity. This title alone raises multiple questions and welcomes anew the ancient wisdom of Christianity.

Where does this sense of grandiosity come from? Hidden deep within each human being is the hunger for something more than being human. Hidden deep within each of us is the conviction that we are meant for something grand. A conviction that comes from the imprint of our divine Creator within us—the source of
the questing energy that bursts from us as an appetite, a hunger for completion....
